FOLA Releases Highly Anticipated Debut Album “Catharsis”

By  |

Rising Nigerian singer FOLA has officially released his debut album, “catharsis.” The 11-track project is a profound and emotionally resonant journey through themes of identity, healing, and self-discovery.

The album’s title, “catharsis,” perfectly encapsulates its core message—the process of finding relief by releasing strong, repressed emotions. FOLA’s music acts as a deeply personal diary, with each song representing a chapter of vulnerability, strength, and artistic growth.

The project features a stellar lineup of guest appearances from some of the industry’s most respected names, including Kizz Daniel, Young Jonn, Victony, and Gabzy.

In a recent interview, FOLA shared the inspiration behind the album, describing it as “like building a soul hospital.” He stated, “I want people to listen to these songs and let go of their worries. I want people to do more after listening to these songs.”

Leading up to the album’s release, FOLA had already built momentum with the singles “eko,” “you,” and “lost,” the latter of which features Kizz Daniel.
