Minister GUC, born Gift Ugochi Christopher, has become one of the most recognisable voices in Nigerian gospel music. Raised in Rivers State, he found his calling through ministry and the desire to create songs that help people feel closer to God. His journey has taken him through albums, live worship gatherings, and a steady stream of songs that speak to everyday faith.
“Good God”, featuring Sunmisola Agbebi, brings that heart into focus. The song describes God as Lover, Father, and Sustainer, capturing a relationship that feels close and personal. It is a simple message delivered with warmth: God stays near, guides, protects, and holds life together even when we cannot see the full picture. The repeated line I have never seen a God as good as you carries the weight of confession and
gratitude. It is honest, open, and grounded in lived experience. By the end, the song paints a picture of God as friend, guardian, creator, and comfort.
