Nathaniel Bassey has grown into one of the most familiar voices in Nigerian gospel music. A singer, songwriter, trumpeter, and pastor, he has spent years shaping worship experiences that connect people through simplicity and sincerity. His journey has produced songs like “Imela”,
“Onise Iyanu”, and “Olowogbogboro”, and also the Hallelujah Challenge, a midnight praise session streamed across social platforms. The movement began in 2017 and has since brought together millions of people looking for a place to pray, sing, and seek comfort.
He closes the year with Ó Dára, a calm, meditative worship song centred on the goodness of God. The track moves gently, using repetition to create space for gratitude and reflection. The words feel familiar and grounding, the kind that settle into the heart without effort. Sung in Yoruba and Igbo, Ó Dára brings different cultures into one shared expression: God is good. The record’s warm harmonies and soft instrumentation carry Nathaniel Bassey’s worship style, inviting listeners into moments of quiet devotion and closeness.
The song stands as a reminder of God’s kindness, patience, and steady presence.
