Fameye, born Peter Famiyeh Bozah, has grown from a young dreamer into one of Ghana’s most recognisable voices. His journey has been shaped by honesty and perseverance, with songs like Nothing I Get introducing his raw storytelling style to a wide audience. Over time, he has blended hiplife, highlife, and Afropop into music that feels personal and relatable.
Terry Bonchaka is a lively, celebratory record built on gratitude and the relief of making it through hard times. DJ Vyrusky’s bright production gives Fameye space to reflect on hustle, pressure, and uncertainty, while choosing joy over worry. The song feels like a release, the kind you play when there is something to be thankful for, even in the middle of stress.
Inspired by the spirit of Ghanaian icon Terry Bonchaka, the track leans into dancing, laughter, and shared wins. Fameye moves easily between English, Pidgin, and Twi, grounding the song in familiar sounds while keeping it open and energetic. It is music for clubs, streets, and
everyday moments when survival itself feels worth celebrating.
