Zlatan & Qing Madi Deliver Soulful Street-Hop Record “Demons”

By  |

African trailblazing Street Hop maverick, Zlatan, born Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, has released a soul-stirring new single titled “Demons,” featuring Afro pop-soul delight Qing Madi. The powerful track serves as the second lead single, following the Fola-assisted ‘Get Better,’ from his highly anticipated third studio album, Symbol of Hope, which arrives on October 17 via ONErpm and Zanku Records.

Opening with ambient piano chords, Zlatan’s signature thunderous “Ibile” slogan ushers in the song, as he blends uplifting street-hop bars with Qing Madi’s soothing harmonies. The artist offers a moment of profound vulnerability, revealing the silent battles that come even with success.

“Y’all see what’s going on all on the camera/ But hard to see when I’m losing focus & stamina/ It’s not always about the money & the doe/ I’m fighting my own demons I just thought to let you know,” Zlatan’s melodic bars swell with raw, vulnerable storytelling.

The song powerfully encourages listeners to persevere in the face of silent struggles while clinging to the assurance that hope still abounds—a major theme in his imminent 16-tracker Symbol of Hope album.

“This song is therapy; a cry for understanding, patience and love, because everyone is fighting something. It reminds us that we don’t always know what others are going through,” Zlatan quips, detailing his muse for the track.
