For years, Deeyasso has been the man behind the scenes, shaping the sound of other artists’ love stories as a producer. Now, with his new single “Only Me,” he steps into the spotlight as a singer and songwriter, adding his tender, soulful voice to the timeless conversation about love.
Following his earlier releases “Forever” and “Perfect,” which showcased his versatility with indie folk and pop, “Only Me” offers a more intimate and vulnerable sound. The song captures the delicate space between hope and fear that comes with being completely open in love. He sings with sincere hope, not demand, on the line, “I don’t mind if you don’t love somebody else but me.” His voice carries this same vulnerability—tender and unforced.
The track moves at its own pace, allowing every word and unspoken feeling to resonate. At just over two minutes, “Only Me” is a masterclass in concise songwriting, saying everything it needs to say and leaving listeners wanting more. The song has a timeless quality that feels both classic and fresh, cementing Deeyasso’s place as a powerful new voice in music.
