Ozedikus, the Nigerian hitmaker behind some of Afrobeats’ biggest songs, has also built a name as a producer who enjoys simple, honest songs that cut through the noise. He grew from
studio back rooms to key rooms, learning how to guide artists and shape melodies. With Chances, he steps forward with Ghana’s Kojo Blak to share a story that feels close to life and
easy to hold.
Chances sit where a crush turns into a choice. The voice is open, warm, and direct. The hook states the point in clear words. “Girl I take my chances with you baby.” The song speaks to
trust, to building a home, and to the hope that two people can plan a future. The record moves with Afrofusion swing. Pidgin and Twi trade lines. Kojo Blak slides in with a smooth run that brings rhythm and spark. Phrases like “Wine ya waist like a fluid” and “Follow ma pattern odo sticky with me” lean into chemistry without losing tact. The production keeps space for drums and melody, so the message stays in front.
