Tanzanian music titans Barnaba and Diamond Platnumz have released the official music video for their latest collaborative single, “Salama.” The track is a poignant narrative, delving into the emotional complexities of a man reaching out to an ex-lover, seeking to understand her well-being now that she has moved on.
“Salama” tells a story woven with reflection and subtle confrontation. The lyrics acknowledge the ex’s apparent thriving in a new relationship, seemingly filled with the peace, joy, and genuine love that was absent in their shared past. It’s a bittersweet exploration of growth, healing, and the challenging yet necessary process of moving on.
This release holds special significance for Barnaba, marking his 16th year as a performing artist. Despite this impressive milestone, he remains steadfastly focused on reaching even greater heights and excelling further in his musical journey.
