Nigerian rap icon and YBNL Nation founder Olamide has officially released his highly anticipated new single, “Burukutu,” accompanied by a striking music video directed by TG Omori. Alongside the single’s release, Olamide revealed the official title and release date for his forthcoming studio album, Time & Space, set to launch globally on November 16, 2026.
Building on the success of his acclaimed self-titled album Olamidé, the new track leans into high-energy street jubilation and celebratory culture. Named after the traditional fermented grain beverage, “Burukutu” opens with the anthem “Baddoo we wanna partyyyy!” and blends sharp, street-smart Yoruba flows with infectious rhythmic cadences over dynamic production.
The accompanying music video visually elevates the single’s cultural weight. Directed by TG Omori, the visual transitions between a glowing, monochromatic red corridor featuring Olamide in a sharp double-breasted suit and dreadlocks, and an earthen-toned courtyard featuring dancers in structured white outfits, pillbox hats, and pearl detailing
