GRAMMY-nominated Afro-fusion icon Omah Lay has officially unveiled the captivating new music video for “CANADA BREEZE,” a standout fan-favorite from his acclaimed 2026 sophomore album, CLARITY OF MIND.
Directed by NWSPK with Omah Lay himself taking the helm as creative director, the visual mirrors the track’s warm, out-of-body energy. Drenched in sunset-shaded hues and a vibrantly trippy atmosphere, the camera moves closely around Omah Lay as he performs alongside dancers wearing psychedelic face paint. Crisp, rhythmic edits match the song’s ebb and flow, culminating in choreographed sequences that blend tribal spirit with a deeply soulful, otherworldly aesthetic.
“CANADA BREEZE” serves as a key highlight from CLARITY OF MIND, which marks Omah Lay’s first full-length project since his groundbreaking 2022 release, Boy Alone. The album signals both a sonic evolution and a personal rebirth for the Port Harcourt-born star. Upon release, the project debuted at #8 on the Billboard Top World Albums Chart—marking his first Top 10 debut in the United States—and has already surpassed half-a-billion global streams while earning widespread critical acclaim from The New York Times, NPR, Billboard, and The FADER.
Anchor tracks like the hypnotic focus single “I AM,” the electro-tinged “JULIA,” and the spiritual, high-frequency anthem “CANADA BREEZE” showcase an artist at the height of his powers, effortlessly navigating desire, faith, isolation, and self-discovery.
