Nigerian gospel sensation Tosin Bee returns with a powerful declaration of divine capability in his new single, “More Than Able.” The song is a heartfelt love letter to God, transforming the artist’s personal journey from hardship into a resonant, multi-lingual anthem of thanksgiving.
“More Than Able” immediately immerses listeners in a vibrant, communal worship experience, characterized by an infectious call-and-response style. Tosin Bee masterfully blends languages, weaving together English, French (Dieu Puissant oh), Nigerian Pidgin (Wetin you no fit do?), and Igbo (Ebubedike) to create a truly pan-African soundscape.
The core message, powerfully captured in the chorus, “Jesus oh / Jésus oh / Wetin you no fit do? / Qu’est-ce que Tu ne peux pas faire?”, serves as a buoyant testament to God’s boundless power. Tosin Bee grounds this praise in personal testimony, sharing lines like, “You turn nobody to somebody,” emphasizing the transformative grace he has experienced.
Tosin Bee shares that the track is rooted in his own life story, stating, “This song is my story, but I believe it’s everyone’s story too. It’s about remembering that God’s power has no limit across languages, cultures, and nations.”
As the song builds to a magnificent crescendo, culminating in the declaration, “You are more than able oh / Tu es plus que capable oh”, it leaves the listener with a feeling of total surrender and triumphant faith.
“More Than Able” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
