Obedo PF Steps into Spotlight with Debut EP “Hope for Ghetto Youths”

By  |

Young Nigerian Afro-fusion artist Obedo PF is stepping boldly into the spotlight with the release of his debut EP, “Hope for Ghetto Youths.” This passionate, genre-blending body of work gives voice to the dreams, struggles, and creativity of young people striving from the ground up. Born and raised in an environment where inspiration often meets hardship, Obedo PF channels real-life experiences into his music, creating sounds that are both authentic and uplifting.

The 5-track EP kicks off with “Imperfect,” an abstract, soul-driven intro where scattered sounds form a chaotic yet beautiful harmony, reflecting life in the ghetto. On “Focus,” Obedo PF rides a bouncy Afrobeats/Amapiano beat, affirming his hustle and spiritual alignment as he chants “on the ghetto way.” The journey continues with “Believe,” a track where vulnerability meets an infectious bounce, as Obedo speaks to the inner strength required to grind in silence. It’s a party jam, but with a clear purpose.

The EP also features collaborations with rising Afro talents Wizard Chan, VibemanJay, and Pekeys, which elevate the project’s energy and expand its range. These collaborations reinforce the sense of community and ambition that fuels “Hope for Ghetto Youths.”

“I made this EP as a mirror and a megaphone for every youth like me, who started with nothing but still dares to dream,” says Obedo PF. “This is our sound. Our truth. Our hope.”
“Hope for Ghetto Youths” is now available on all streaming platforms.
