Since his breakout in 2019 with the hit “Badmouth,” Ayanfe Viral has maintained a reputation for making music that mirrors the complexities of real life. Today, the artist continues his evolution with the release of his latest single, “YARA,” a track that blends his signature street confidence with a vulnerable, romantic core.
Ayanfe Viral has spent the last few years building a loyal following by staying true to his narrative, often mixing raw emotion with the grit of the Lagos music scene. His journey has been marked by high-profile collaborations with notable names such as Bella Shmurda, Portable, and Diamond Jimma—partnerships that helped refine a sound where personality always leads the production.
In “YARA,” Ayanfe Viral explores the dynamics of modern devotion. The song centers on the experience of being admired by many while consciously choosing to remain “locked in” with one special person. He moves seamlessly between self-assurance and affection, making it clear that despite the noise and attention that come with his rising profile, his focus remains fixed on his Yara.
The record is built on a smooth, upbeat Afro-pop rhythm designed for movement and positive energy. It serves as a testament to his growth, proving that an artist can maintain their edge while leaning into the softer, more celebratory aspects of love. With its infectious melody and relatable storytelling, “YARA” is poised to become a staple for both the streets and the dancefloor.
“YARA” is now available on all major streaming and digital music platforms.
