Bella Shmurda, the self-proclaimed “Ghetto Preacher,” has released his new single “Holy Jah,” a soulful track that delivers a message of balance and gratitude. The song stays true to Bella’s signature style of turning personal truths into music that resonates with everyday people.
“Holy Jah” is an anthem for inner peace, with Bella singing, “Happiness is all I need, I don’t want no stress.” The song encourages listeners to find strength and contentment by looking inward and to God. The lyrics, including the old proverb “Wetin dey you find for sokoto, omo e fit dey your shokoto” (what you seek outside might already be with you), serve as a reminder that what we need most is often within reach.
The track, produced by Popito, features a smooth, amapiano-inspired rhythm driven by infectious log drums. Bella’s vocals are calm yet confident, riding the beat with an effortless flow. The song is a unique blend that is equally suited for the dancefloor or for moments of quiet reflection.
