ALL TEMS, NO MISSES: Love Is A Kingdom is What You Need.

All Tems, No Misses

By now if you haven’t heard of the name Tems, this new project is definitely going to be another reason you should.
Tems has been my superstar since I heard Looku Looku and I remember vividly telling my friends that period that we had another superstar on our hands but they were wondering where it came from but I heard the sound and the melodies hit differently.
It’s not just the voice, one day the world will still understand.
But my confirmation of her greatness was the track, ‘These Days’ after that I was sure that it was just a matter of time.

Essence or not, it was destiny.

This new project is another testament of her ever growing greatness.

The Project kicks off with First (the type of track that should start a project) the bounce and she telling you how she is different and you can’t stop her for real.
I love the arrogance.
The Leading Vibe is not a joke.

The project progresses to the next track titled I’m not sure where she touches one of her favorite topics (Uncertain Love).
She has always spoken about how she can’t be giving her heart and you will be fooling.

Track 3 comes in hot and banging, one of my favorite version of Tems. The Bullish Tems.
Alpha Male Tems, Call Me King Tems going back and forth on that 1,2 3 bounce and strings.
With melodies that flanger over sweet chords.
That’s the way we like it Tems…..Exactly how we like it.

She takes a pitch slower in the next track and unleashes RNB Tems in Lagos Love talking about love surely.
Telling you how soft she can be and how you should love her.
Give her attention and affection and everything that requires a connection.

Mine takes it back up a notch with upbeat Tems flexing over upbeat tempo, reminding me of her performance on Wickedest on her previous album.
The reason for her performance in Mine is the reason why the next track is a Gold Mine.

She takes it all the way down down down low to vintage Tems on this sweet musical experience with What You Need.
She knows what to do on these beats and her synergy with Guiltybeatz is eternal at this point.
This track is easily my favorite because I am a soft guy who likes morning coffee with a newspaper, TV on in the background on mute and this playing in the background for hours on repeat till I start my day is exactly what I need.

The final track, Is there a Reason is a final ode to greatness and a befitting way to call curtain close on what was a beautiful way to gift her fans something to feast on till she releases a sophomore album which I’m sure will keep cementing her place in music globally.

This project was All Tems, no features and production credits on three songs.
Other producers that worked on this where GuiltyBeatz, ThisIzLondon,AoD,V Ron, Jonah Christian and Rob Bisel and not one single miss.

Long love The Leading Vibe.
