Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader Mera Owili has officially released her new album, “Melodies of My Heart,” a rich collection of faith declarations, deep worship, and joyful praise.
Hailing from Bayelsa State, Mera Owili seamlessly weaves her Ijaw heritage into contemporary gospel, incorporating her local dialect to create an authentic, uplifted worship experience. “Melodies of My Heart” serves as a full-circle testament to God’s faithfulness, grace, and enduring love.
The album opens with “The Believer’s Confession,” a powerful anthem anchored in the finished work of Christ, declaring the believer’s position in heavenly places. That foundational trust carries through “The Faithful One,” a reassuring song for difficult seasons, and “Tari,” where Mera expresses awe at God’s overwhelming affection.
As the 12-track project unfolds, tracks like “Nana Owei Mbana” and “All Because You Love Me” celebrate life as an unmerited gift, while “Oba” and “Oribime” elevate the energy with vibrant indigenous praise. The album culminates in triumphant victory declarations on “Celebrate” before closing with “You Love Me,” a serene personal reflection on grace.
“Melodies of My Heart” is out now and available on all major music streaming platforms worldwide via ONErpm.
