Afro-fusion talent LAIME has released his new single, “Millions,” uniting with longtime collaborator ThrillMax and indigenous rap star Jeriq.
Continuing the creative evolution that began with his debut EP 21, LAIME delivers a focused anthem centered on ambition, self-reliance, and driving toward success regardless of humble beginnings. He sets the tone early, opening the record with the fundamental question: “How can we get these millions?” From there, the song outlines a roadmap built on laser focus, hard work, and ignoring external distractions.
Jeriq adds significant weight to the narrative, weaving Igbo, English, and street lingo into his verse. Reflecting on his own rise from zero naira to millions, Jeriq delivers sharp lines about building an empire, keeping his fuel tank full, and betting on himself—a core philosophy that mirrors LAIME’s own journey.
Beyond the pursuit of wealth, “Millions” carries a deeply personal motivation. Grounded in familial responsibility, the track frames financial success not just as personal gain, but as a vehicle to uplift family, create opportunities, and rewrite the narrative for those coming up behind them.
“Millions” is out now and available on all major music streaming platforms worldwide via ONErpm.
