Zoro Swagbag, born Owoh Chimaobi Chrismathner, has built a distinct identity by bringing Igbo language and culture into contemporary Nigerian hip-hop and Afropop. Born in Onitsha and originally from Agwu, Enugu State, he rose to national prominence in 2016 with his breakout single “Ogene” featuring Flavour. Since then, he has remained committed to making music that proudly represents his roots while keeping his sound modern and accessible.
Now known as Akpa Swag, Zoro Swagbag enters a new chapter with “Big Shot,” a larger- than-life record built around ambition, success, family, and unapologetic self-belief. Produced by Izzy Beatzz with co-production from Jaysynths, the song finds Zoro celebrating his journey while
making it clear that he intends to keep aiming higher.
From the opening images of a “big name,” “big masquerade,” and “big shot in a big Escalade,” the record establishes its oversized personality. Zoro combines luxury references, money talk, sharp rap bars, and the repeated “biggie biggie, heavy heavy” refrain to create a
confident anthem about knowing your worth and refusing to think small..
“Big Shot” is Zoro Swagbag's victory lap, a celebration of becoming, providing, and refusing to think small.
“Big Shot” is now available on all streaming platforms via ONErpm.
