A standout name at the center of Nigeria’s vibrant nightlife culture, Chukwuebuka Okeke, popularly known as Uncle Bubu, is officially making his transition into the artist space with the release of a compelling dual single project featuring Kemuel and Cupid SZN.
Known for live sets that seamlessly blend Afrobeats, Amapiano, R&B, and electronic sounds, Uncle Bubu approaches DJing with a sharp, technical mind shaped during his time studying Civil Engineering at the University of Portsmouth. His rapid rise in the entertainment scene has been marked by major performances, culminating in his recent win for Male DJ of the Year at The Beatz Awards 2025. With this new two-track release, he translates that signature live energy and sonic intuition into a recorded format.
The first track, “Darkest Secrets,” leans into a softer, late-night mood. Over a calm and deeply emotional backdrop, Uncle Bubu and vocal powerhouse Kemuel explore a relationship built on trust and tension.
