TuNaCious is back with “Do Me,” turning a fan challenge into a brand-new single

2 min read

Nigerian Afrobeats and Afrofusion artist TuNaCious officially releases “DO ME,” transforming a song originally created for the MTN Next Afrobeats Superstar challenge into a standalone record for listeners worldwide.

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and independent artist TuNaCious has officially released his new single, “DO ME,” marking a new chapter in his journey as an artist who believes in taking his music beyond the opportunities that inspire it.

The record was initially created for the MTN Next Afrobeats Superstar challenge. However, rather than allowing the song to remain tied to the competition, TuNaCious decided to recreate the production and develop it into an official release, giving the record a life of its own.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the release, TuNaCious shared that the experience reinforced an important lesson: an opportunity does not always come from being selected, but sometimes from believing in your work enough to keep pushing it forward.

“Sometimes the opportunity isn’t being picked. Sometimes it’s believing in what you’ve created enough to see it through,” he says.

Produced by @Oodun, “DO ME” represents TuNaCious’ commitment to his craft and determination to turn creative ideas into tangible opportunities. The release also highlights the independent artist’s willingness to take ownership of his sound and continue building his catalogue beyond the outcome of a competition.

With “DO ME,” TuNaCious invites listeners to connect with the record on their own terms, as the song moves from a challenge entry to an official release available across major digital streaming platforms.

The single is out now.
