Produced by the talented Shugavybz, Wayo exhibits his signature blend of infectious rhythms and captivating vocals.
Wayo, a slang which often translates to “deceit” takes an unexpected turn in Tekno’s hands. Here, it becomes a powerful declaration of love. Driven by pulsating percussion, hypnotic synths, and lush guitar arrangements, the song creates a mesmerizing soundscape that perfectly complements Tekno’s enchanting vocals. His storytelling ability shines through as he weaves a tale of reassurance, passionately convincing his lover of his unwavering devotion. The lyrics, “I no come do wayo,” form the central theme, a heartfelt promise that cuts through the layers of infectious melody.
