Rukmani has always sung like someone who feels deeply. Since emerging as a fresh voice in Nigeria’s R&B scene, she’s built her sound on the quiet power of honesty, her vocals gliding over smooth melodies and Afropop productions, turning personal moments into shared ones.
She returns with 3XL Deluxe, an expanded version of her debut album that goes further into the heart of what it means to love, lose, and long for more.
Rukmani adds new chapters. Songs like “Not Nice” with SGwad, “Fantasy” featuring Kaestyle, and “Heartbeat” with Alpha P deepen the project. Each collaboration brings a different energy, but all orbit the same truth: real connection is messy, magnetic, and often fleeting.
She sings about lust without shame, intimacy without pretence, and loss without melodrama. When she says, “This album is about the way we experience connection in its many forms, the joy, the fire, the vulnerability, and the ache. With the deluxe, I wanted to give it more life, to add more chapters to that story,” she’s talking about late-night texts, silent exits, bodies moving in sync, and the ache of realising someone is gone.
Beyond the songs, Rukmani is bringing fans closer than ever. Behind-the-scenes content will reveal the making of the project, while intimate fan experiences like “Lost Love Letters” and secret shows across Lagos and the diaspora.
With 3XL Deluxe, shaping a new path for African R&B, one song, one emotion, one honest moment at a time.
