Nigerian music star Rord Kelly is keeping the momentum high from his stellar 2025 campaign with the release of an exciting, fresh rework of his viral hit, “Okwu.” For this highly-anticipated remix, Rord Kelly has joined forces with the fast-rising viral sensation, Chella.
The “Okwu (Remix)” breathes new life into the beloved anthem, offering a dynamic and captivating listening experience. Rord Kelly’s original track “Okwu” (meaning ‘Word’ or ‘Matter’ in Igbo) has already proven its staying power, becoming a fan favorite across streaming platforms and social media. This remix demonstrates Rord Kelly’s versatility and commitment to pushing his sound, while introducing Chella’s distinctive talent to an even wider global audience.
“Bringing Chella onto this track felt like the most natural next step,” says Rord Kelly. “Her sound completely flipped the song on its head in the best way possible. It’s still ‘Okwu,’ but it’s a whole new vibe, and I can’t wait for the fans to hear it.”
