Ranking All Olamide & Wizkid Collaborations

3 min read

There are just some combinations made for each other—paired together in perfect symphony. As individual parts, they have undeniable appeal, but as a pair, the chemistry is unmatched. Right from their early days, Wizkid and Olamide have shared a string of collaborations, and on each one, they reaffirm why they have an irreplaceable bond.

It all started over a decade ago in 2011, and since then, they’ve teamed up a total of six times. Here’s a ranking of all their collaborations:

6. Billionaires Club ft. Darkoo

Their most recent collab, Billionaires Club, comes in at number 6—a strong addition to their collaborative catalog. It follows a pattern both artists have embraced in recent years: low-tempo, mellow, and chill. Produced by the talented P Prime, the feel-good song isn’t focused on deep lyrics but instead delivers a smooth, luxury vibe true to its title—music for big boys. Darkoo adds her unique flair to the track as well. This is music to enjoy with an expensive glass of wine and a few stacks on the table.

5. Kai

Kai came from the same album and carries a similar vibe. Calm and collected, it was produced by Eskeez and Semzi, featuring elements of jazz horns and sax riffs throughout, creating exquisite music. Olamide’s melodic rapping is soothing here, but we have to give props to Wizkid, who glides effortlessly on this record. The beginning of his verse—“It’s too easy ’cause the money surplus”—has to be a top 5 Wizkid moment.

4. Kana

2018 was ruled by bangers—like every other year, obviously—but Kana definitely had something special. The best word to describe it is “iconic.” As much as it was an enjoyable record, it was even more legendary. The mellow beat from Mut4y set the tone, and every line on the song is a quotable. From “If I tell you do like this / Omo sho ma do like this” to “O pariwo bi Tekno o ko pana,” the entire song is a well of iconic lines.

3. Confirm Ni

Confirm Ni is one of their more underrated collabs—known, but not always remembered. Still, the song itself is a bop. In its prime, parties were banging to this record. If you know, you know: this is one of the OG Afro adura (prayer-themed) songs. And we can’t forget the production from Young Jonn—the wicked producer.

2. Omo To Shan

This is the track that started it all—the beginning of their collaborative journey. Dropped in 2011, it remains one of the most iconic Afrobeats songs and collaborations to date. The single opened the floodgates for an avalanche of hits, and it was produced by none other than the legend ID Cabasa.

1. Totori ft. ID Cabasa

It’s rare for a two-way collaboration to recreate the magic of their early hits, but this time, a three-way collab did just that. Wizkid, Olamide, and ID Cabasa reunited and managed to top their first effort. Totori is a genuine bop and deserves its place at the top of their collaboration list. ID Cabasa brought the duo together again and recreated magic eight years later.
