One of Nigeria’s most celebrated songwriters and versatile vocalists, Peruzzi, is back with a commanding new single, “Die It.” Following the successful 2025 R&B hit “Mad Me,” which showcased his vocal depth, “Die It” flips the narrative of defeat into a resolute anthem of triumph, survival, and unshakable purpose.
The track is instantly captivating, built on a rich production of layered Igbo percussion, vibrant Afro-pop synths, and ritual-like rhythms. The repeated chants of “Obodo ekilibe” inject a ceremonial, almost spiritual weight, transforming the song into a declaration of war against past struggles.
Lyrically, Peruzzi reflects on the journey from doubt to victory, addressing those who counted him out with honest lines like “Nxggas took me for a joke.” He celebrates his hard-earned transformation and persistence, declaring, “I made it out the belly of the beast.”
By the time the central chant hits—“Make E Die It”—the message is crystal clear: the struggle is decisively over, the artist has reached a new peak, and there is absolutely no turning back. “Die It” is a powerful statement from a seasoned artist, solidifying his status as a force built on resilience.
“Die It” is available now on all streaming platforms.
