Born in Tokyo and raised on the rhythm of Lagos, Josiah Kelvin Efeme, professionally known as TKYØ, is a Nigerian-Japanese RnB/Soul artist and songwriter carving out a distinct space in contemporary African music. With sultry vocals, fearless production and an instinct for genre-bending, TKYØ draws from the emotional depth of 90s RnB while pulling from Trap, Afrobeats, Hip-Hop, Alte and global influences to create a sound that feels nostalgic yet distinctly his own.
TKYØ began his musical journey in 2016 as a member of TDD (The Discreet Days) before stepping into his solo career in 2019. It was through his close creative partnership with producer Beezyx that he began to fully discover and develop the sound that would become his signature: heavenly RnB grounded in contemporary production, sensuality and unapologetic storytelling.
His solo catalogue began with “Bitch” in 2024, followed by the two-pack Sundown in TKYØ, featuring “Gemini” and “Kpa.” He continued to push his sonic boundaries with “Puss Puss” in October 2025 and “Chevron Drive” in April 2026.
