Two of Nigeria’s most versatile musical talents, rising Afro-fusion star Laime and acclaimed rapper-singer Dremo, have officially joined forces for a collaborative three-track EP titled “Sunset Drive.” Released globally via ONErpm, the project serves as a compelling exploration of love, ambition, and everyday human experiences.
The creative partnership first sparked when Laime participated in Dremo’s popular “Man 2 Man” challenge. That initial connection quickly grew into a seamless studio chemistry, bringing together two distinct artistic backgrounds. Laime—a Rivers State native raised between Lagos and Abuja—brings his signature smooth vocals and thoughtful songwriting, while Dremo (born Aboriomoh Femi Raymond) anchors the records with his sharp lyrical ability and signature hip-hop swagger.
Across the three-track project, the duo crafts a relatable soundtrack that balances reflective storytelling with infectious Afro-fusion grooves. The EP opens with “Take My Time,” a heartfelt record that delves into the patience, reassurance, and intentional effort required to maintain romantic love despite distance and life’s uncertainties.
The mood shifts on the second track, “If To Say Na You (Na Money),” where the artists unpack financial ambition, personal goals, and the undeniable influence of money on modern relationships. Wrapping up the project is “Matcha Latte,” a vibrant, romantic record featuring Sante SVM that blends playful attraction with effortless charm.
“Sunset Drive is about real conversations and real emotions. Whether it’s love, ambition, or relationships, I wanted every song to reflect experiences that people live through every day.”

With its warm production, honest lyricism, and seamless synergy, Sunset Drive marks an exciting milestone for both artists as they continue to shape the sound of Nigeria’s evolving music scene.
