When Nigerian hitmaker Krizbeatz and Moroccan superstar Saad Lamjarred come together, the result is a guaranteed celebration. The duo has released their new collaboration, “Birthday Riddim,” a jubilant, genre-blurring anthem designed to soundtrack birthdays, victories, and any moment worth celebrating. From Lagos to Casablanca, this track is the sound of pure, unadulterated joy.
“Birthday Riddim” is engineered for movement from the very first beat. The song opens with an infectious call to action, “What you gonna do when the song feels good tonight?”, a question that demands dancing as the only logical answer. Krizbeatz’s signature Afrobeats percussion provides a solid foundation, while Saad’s smooth vocals float over the rhythm, creating a soundscape where the repetitive “Happy happy happy… to you” hook becomes a collective cheer.
The collaboration bridges two musical worlds, bringing together the vibrant energy of Nigeria and the melodic richness of Morocco. As Krizbeatz notes, their goal was to create “something that transcends language,” and they’ve accomplished just that. Whether listeners are following the dance commands like “Make I dance dance make I jonz up” or simply getting lost in the track’s sheer exuberance, the message of celebration is undeniable. “Birthday Riddim” is a testament to the power of music to connect people across cultures and borders.
“Birthday Riddim” by Krizbeatz and Saad Lamjarred is now available on all streaming platforms.
