Krizbeatz has consistently been at the forefront of the Afropop movement. His debut project, “Afro Dance Music,” showcased his innovative approach, blending boisterous tones with accomplished musicians, many of whom he had previously produced for. Since that 2017 release, Krizbeatz’s creative instincts have evolved and sharpened, solidifying his position as one of the most reliable tastemakers in the scene. This is undeniably evident in his sophomore album “Daddy Day Care.” “Daddy Day Care” is a cohesive collection of twelve tracks. Krizbeatz masterfully orchestrates a communal vision, ensuring the album flows seamlessly as a unified body of work rather than a mere compilation of songs. He achieves this through meticulous
attention to detail and by thoughtfully pairing artists who complement the project’s creative direction.
“HA Yeh,” featuring Alpha P and King Perry, whose production was uniquely created during a TikTok Live session—an innovative display of Krizbeatz’s brilliance. His range as a producer is evident throughout the project. On “Izz Going,” he delivers a gospel- inspired production that feels celestial, while “The Roof” is a dynamic fusion of sounds, bridging generations of music lovers.
When it comes to love and lust, Krizbeatz provides lush and evocative sonic backdrops. “Touch It” features heartfelt performances from Fave and Joshua Baraka, while “Wicked Jazz” combines a mid-tempo rhythm with hard-hitting bass. Darkoo and Ajebo Hustlers keep you glued with the hook and verses. The groove is relentless on Daddy Daycare. From Reminisce, Tekno, Adewale Ayuba, Yemi Alade, Skales to Khaid and more. Krizbeatz curates an electric lineup
that sets the tone for the dancefloor.
By carefully utilizing his featured artists, Krizbeatz achieves a signature sound that resonates deeply across the entire album. Daddy Daycare is a testament to his evolution as a producer and his ability to craft music that feels both purposeful and exciting.
