Renowned Afrobeats singer and songwriter Kizz Daniel has officially kicked off his latest musical rollout with the release of his new single, “Owo Oluwa,” featuring multi-talented artist Young Jonn, producer Krizbeatz, and the Wave Choir.
Translating from Yoruba to “The Hand of God,” “Owo Oluwa” marks a distinct artistic shift for Kizz Daniel. Moving away from his signature dance-floor bangers, the track presents an Afro-gospel-infused anthem centered on gratitude, faith, and divine protection. Throughout the record, Kizz Daniel reflects on navigating life’s journey with care (“ṣe jẹjẹ”) and relying on divine favor to overcome past struggles and maintain peace of mind.
Sonically, the single opens with an ambient house music arrangement before transitioning into a heavy Afrobeat groove masterminded by star producer Krizbeatz. Young Jonn contributes key vocal support, complemented by rich harmonic backing from the Wave Choir, turning the track into a uplifting, reflective praise song.
“Owo Oluwa” serves as the lead single and official herald for Kizz Daniel’s forthcoming studio album, Radio Gidi. The single is available now on all major music streaming platforms worldwide.
