Humblesmith (Ekenedirichukwu Ijemba) has always carried the warmth of highlife in his voice. Before music, he explored acting, appearing in films like Hypertension (2010), but it was Afropop that ultimately became his calling. After moving to Lagos, he broke into the spotlightwith “Chairmoo” (2014) and the massive hit “Osinachi” (2015), establishing himself as one of Nigeria’s most melodically gifted artists. Now, he returns with “Kelechi,” a joyful collaboration with Port Harcourt’s legendary hitmaker
Duncan Mighty. Together, they deliver a highlife–Afrobeats celebration steeped in gratitude, spiritual reflection, and the sweetness of divine favour. “Kelechi” is both a praise record and a personal testimony, the kind of song that feels like smiling with your whole chest. Built on bright guitars, uplifting percussion, and warm harmonies, it captures the moment when life turns upward, and you can finally say, “Look what God has done.” Duncan Mighty’s depth pairs with Humblesmith’s melodic flair. The song’s message is clear: whether it’s financial blessings, breakthroughs, or quiet moments of grace, thanksgiving should always be on your lips.
