Squareball Entertainment is proud to introduce its latest signee, the dynamic Afrofusion artist ELI JAE, who is making a bold entrance with his new single, “Sexual Healing.” This track stakes his claim as one of the genre’s most compelling and intimate voices, offering a refreshing departure from conventional romance narratives.
“Sexual Healing” is a raw and honest confessional, reminiscent of the soulful depth of Marvin Gaye blended with the contemporary Afrobeat sensibilities of Wizkid, all delivered with a distinctly modern edge. Over a backdrop of silky guitar riffs and a deeply resonant bassline, ELI JAE’s smooth vocals effortlessly transition between Yoruba and English, painting vivid scenes of late-night desire with lines like, “Your body dey talk, I dey listen / No prescription, just this friction.” The track builds to an evocative bridge, pleading for genuine connection with the lyric, “Let’s get lost tonight—no GPS.”
ELI JAE offers his perspective on the track’s deeper meaning: “This isn’t just about physical attraction. It’s about two souls finding peace in each other. Sometimes, healing isn’t therapy—it’s chemistry.”
With “Sexual Healing,” ELI JAE announces his arrival as a provocative and authentic voice in the Afrofusion scene, unafraid to explore the complexities of intimacy and connection.
