Nigerian gospel minister and singer Dr. Ken Emelonye has announced the release of his latest single, “Ebenezer,” a reflective anthem of gratitude and progress. Moving with the steady pace of a man who has balanced high-level corporate life at TD Africa with a dedicated ministry, Ken delivers a track that speaks to the relief found after a season of pressure.
Educated at Texas Southern University, Ken Emelonye has long been respected for a career path that blends professional excellence with spiritual devotion. His music avoids the pursuit of fleeting trends, growing instead from a foundation of lived experience and quiet service. With “Ebenezer,” he translates the ancient declaration of “Thus far the Lord has helped us” into a modern story of resilience and divine support.
The song opens with a communal chant, immediately inviting listeners into a shared space of praise. The production is intentionally simple and open, ensuring that the message of the lyrics remains the primary focus. It is a record designed to feel like a room full of voices in agreement—a collective acknowledgement that help has arrived.
Throughout “Ebenezer,” Ken addresses God as a guide and protector using language that is both direct and relatable. He touches on the universal experiences of waiting and doubting, eventually arriving at a place of calm. The lyrics emphasize a newfound freedom from worry and a deep trust in life’s timing, offering a soundtrack for anyone who has transitioned from a period of struggle to a place of peace.
“Ebenezer” is not defined by noise or theatricality; it is defined by the quiet certainty that comes when one realizes they are no longer carrying their burdens alone. It stands as a powerful testament to the steady hand of faith in an ever-changing world.
“Ebenezer” is now available for streaming on all major digital music platforms.
