London-based producer and DJ, DJames, releases his anticipated debut EP ‘Grateful’, featuring top Nigerian musical talents.

‘Grateful’ EP is a five-track project featuring an all-star lineup, with standout contributions from Crayon, Qing Madi, 1da Banton, Shoday, and Skales. Each artist brings their unique style to the project, creating a rich blend of sounds that showcase DJames’ versatility as a producer. It is a fusion of Afrobeats, Afro-Pop, and Dancehall vibes, carefully curated to resonate with music lovers everywhere.

On the first track of the EP, DJames teams up with 1da Banton on ‘Shako’, a track that blends smooth melodies with infectious beats, setting the perfect tone for the project. The energy continues with previously released track ‘Avalay’ featuring Mavins’ very own Crayon; an irresistible tune with a catchy hook. Qing Madi brings her vibrant and youthful energy to ‘Love Me’, a song that blends Afro-Pop with a sweet romantic vibe. Shoday’s vocals shine on ‘The Best Thing’, an Afrobeats anthem full of heartfelt lyrics, while Skales delivers a standout performance on ‘What I Want’, bringing the EP to a high-energy close.

DJames has established himself as one of the most sought-after producers in the industry, consistently delivering hits and pushing the boundaries of Afrobeats music. Having worked with top-tier and emerging artists alike, his production continues to evolve, and ‘Grateful’ is yet another testament to his mastery of blending different styles to create timeless music.
