Chart-topping Nigerian singer and songwriter BNXN has officially released his highly anticipated six-track extended play, “Still In Charge.” Serving as a bold declaration of artistic control, the project reinforces his standing as one of Afrobeats’ premier hook masters and lyricists.
The EP opens on an explosive high with “Eja Meja,” featuring superstar Asake. The lead track delivers a masterclass in modern Afrobeats, blending BNXN’s signature smooth melodies with Asake’s high-energy cadence. The energy flows seamlessly into “Online,” the Telz-produced single that served as the project’s captivating lead teaser.
On “16” and “Deliberate Work,” BNXN flies solo, offering listeners an unfiltered look into his reflective songwriting and distinctive vocal texture. The collaborative spark returns on the fifth track, “Shamaya,” where he links up with fast-rising Nigerian talent FOLA.
The project comes to a satisfying close with “If You Like,” an upbeat, melody-driven anchor powered by dynamic instrumentation that leaves no doubt about BNXN’s position at the top of the game.
“Still In Charge” is out now and available on all major music streaming platforms worldwide.
