Global Afropop sensation Ayra Starr has officially released her third studio album, “Starrgirl,” out now across all major digital streaming platforms via Mavin Records and Republic Records. Wrapped in a rich purple visual aesthetic, the 16-track project serves as a definitive statement of her artistic growth and cemented place at the top of the global pop landscape.
Following the critical and commercial success of her previous projects, 19 & Dangerous and The Year I Turned 21, “Starrgirl” deepens the singer’s artist lore while showcasing her versatility across contemporary Afrobeats, Pop, and R&B.
The album boasts an impressive roster of international and local collaborators. Ayra Starr joins forces with Afrobeats titan Wizkid on “Gimme Dat,” reunites with Mavin labelmate Rema on “Who’s Dat Girl,” and teams up with UK singer kwn on “Amazing”. The project also features American singer-songwriter Leon Thomas on “Pressure,” French sensation Theodora on “Ms. Paper,” and Colombian hitmaker Danny Ocean on the remix of “Hot Body”.
