Following its viral success on TikTok, promising artist Ashidapo has teamed up with Afrobeats icon Olamide to release the official music video for their hit single, “Girl On Fya.” The track is a vibrant anthem dedicated to a woman’s irresistible energy, and the new visuals, directed by Tunde Cutz and Jyde Ajala, bring the song’s story to life.
“Girl On Fya” is a high-energy track with an undeniable Afrobeats rhythm and Afro-fusion bounce. Ashidapo’s heartfelt promises and devotion to the woman he loves are perfectly complemented by Olamide’s electrifying feature, which brings his signature seamless flow and street-smart lyricism to the song. The production cleverly interpolates Donae’o’s 2009 hit “Party Hard,” blending nostalgic energy with a fresh, contemporary flair.
The video beautifully captures the dynamic connection between Ashidapo and Olamide, highlighting the song’s central theme: a woman with a “can’t-ignore-her” kind of vibe who lights up every room.
Ashidapo shared, “I poured my heart into this track, and having Olamide on it took it to another level entirely. I wanted this song to feel like Lagos nights—hot, vibrant, and unforgettable. The visuals bring the story to life, and I can’t wait for you to see it.”
