Rising gospel-fusion artist AnEndlessOcean (AEO) has officially released his compelling new single, “Promises,” an uplifting anthem centered on surrender, peace, and unwavering trust in God.
Born Ayobami Alli Hakeem, AnEndlessOcean grew up straddling two distinct worlds—raised by a Muslim father and a Christian mother—walking both paths before settling into his Christian faith. His musical origins began quietly in the church choir playing bass, until a mentor encouraged him to write songs. That pivotal moment transformed him from a background musician into a storyteller blending faith and rebellion for a generation hungry for relatable spiritual music.
On “Promises,” AEO addresses the quiet strength that comes from relinquishing control over life’s uncertainties. The track focuses on casting burdens at God’s feet, anchored by the conviction that divine strength and direction will arrive when needed most. Rather than promising an absence of difficulty, “Promises” offers a different way to navigate life’s challenges—inviting listeners to let go of the pressure to control every outcome and rest in God’s dependability.
Built on atmospheric production and warm vocal delivery, the single serves as a timely reminder that not every burden has to be carried alone.
“Promises” is out now and available on all major music streaming platforms worldwide via ONErpm.
