In 2024, Anendlessocean released Hexagon, a romance-themed EP that filtered expressions of
admiration through the lens of his Christian faith. Two years later, he returns with Love Is A
Machinery, a full-length exploration of what it takes to build love that lasts.
The album challenges the tendency to define love through conditions and expectations. Rather
than asking why someone deserves love. Anendlessocean approaches it as an inward process
first. The project argues that love rooted in conditions is fragile, tethered to past, present, or
predicted futures that may shift. Instead, Love Is A Machinery begins with a love of thyself that
deepens into a love of self, then extends that understanding outward. Whether kindly, romantic,
or platonic, he presents love as something that requires intention and effort.
The result is a collection for lovers, yearners, and rebels alike, one that examines not just the
emotion of love, but the commitment, vulnerability, patience, and labour required to sustain it.
Though his faith informs his perspective, Anendlessocean creates beyond the margins of a
single genre. Rather than being defined strictly as a gospel artist, he embraces a multi-faceted
sound to explore the full spectrum of human experience, love, praise, social issues, and more.
His music is an extension of what he has lived, heard, felt, and seen.
The album features guest vocals from Braye and Sinmidele, with production from St Oasis,
Outgun Onkar, and Anendlessocean himself. Traversing R&B, reggaeton, alternative pop,
and contemporary African sounds, Love Is A Machinery marks his most expansive musical
palette to date.
“Love Is A Machinery started with a question about why we love,” Anendlessocean says.
“A lot of times love is attached to conditions, but I wanted to explore what happens when
love begins within. How we understand ourselves affects how we love other people. This
album is my attempt to have that conversation through music.”
