Acclaimed Rwandan singer and songwriter Alyn Sano, born Shengero Aline, has officially released her soul-stirring new single, “Amen.” Known for her seamless ability to navigate R&B, Afrobeats, and Neo-soul, Alyn Sano uses this latest release to shift the spotlight from individual achievement to the collective power of community, faith, and support.
“Amen” is a melodic celebration of gratitude. Moving away from the typical narrative of self-made success, the track serves as a gentle nudge to listeners that our milestones are rarely reached alone. Through her signature evocative vocals, Alyn Sano acknowledges the quiet guidance, fervent prayers, and tireless efforts of the people who stand behind every success story.
The heartbeat of the song lies in its powerful chorus—”Forever, amen”—a declaration of continuous thankfulness that serves as a spiritual anchor for the track. By weaving together themes of faith and reflection, the song aims to inspire a sense of positivity and a deeper appreciation for one’s support system.
Since her breakthrough as a finalist on The Voice Afrique Francophone and the release of her acclaimed debut album RUMURI, Alyn Sano has built a reputation for turning strangers into lifelong fans. “Amen” reinforces her position as a thoughtful storyteller in the African music landscape, offering a sound that is as reflective as it is rhythmic.
