African music pioneer Mr Eazi has unveiled his irresistible new single, “Dance Pon Me,” a sultry, Dancehall-infused cut set to dominate dancefloors worldwide. The track, which follows the momentum of his “Maison Rouge” EP and the tender single “Wait For Your Love,” captures the raw electricity of two bodies moving in perfect, rhythmic sync.
“Dance Pon Me” flips the script, delivering a hypnotic and sticky earworm that stays with you long after the music stops. The production, expertly crafted by Dre Skull and Cadenza, blends island breeze with powerful London bass, creating a seamless sonic bridge between continents. Every kick and snare is a gentle command to surrender to the groove.
Mr Eazi’s signature vocal style—relaxed, conversational, and coolly confident—glides over the beat like a whispered secret. His lyrics are a smooth, magnetic cocktail of English and sweet Jamaican patois, pulling the listener into an irresistible scene where rhythm blurs the line between strangers and lovers.
The song is an unfiltered celebration of desire, turning the dancefloor into a sacred space where only the music and the body speak. With “Dance Pon Me,” Mr Eazi continues to cement his status as a global trailblazer, effortlessly melding African rhythms with Caribbean and UK sounds.
“Dance Pon Me” is available now on all major music streaming services.
