Nigerian singer-songwriter and performer, Dima, formerly known as Susss, is back with his latest single, the optimistic and uplifting track “In My Soul.”
Dima, who gained recognition in 2022 with his single “Radar” (nominated at the Galaxy Music Awards), hails from Port Harcourt and was raised on the sounds of 2Baba, Burna Boy, and Damian Marley. His music bridges generations, and “In My Soul” is a testament to this. The song’s opening line, “Happiness and blessings stand pon mi door,” sets the tone for a track that is both personal and universally resonant.
“In My Soul” celebrates divine blessings and the profound joy found within. It serves as a song of gratitude and a declaration of triumph over life’s challenges.
Dima’s lyrics, “There’s sunshine in my soul / And I’ve got gladness in my heart,” express a resilience and positivity that encourages listeners to celebrate life’s small victories, all wrapped in a smooth, uplifting sound.
