Odumodublvk shares Anticapted Single “Picanto” featuring Zlatan & Ecko Miles

After months of teasing, Grime and Okporoko pioneer of Africa Odumodu Blvck aka Big Gun has finally released his Picanto track featuring the one and only Zlatan Ibile. Odumodu Blvck First shared a snippet of Picanto with fans on August 24; in the video he and Zlatan can be seen vibing heavily to the then unreleased record.

Picanto has been highly anticipated for many months now and it was originally meant to be released on November 18 but Odumodu Blvck pushed the date back to November 21. The song has been promoted so far with the hashtag #PicantoSznBaby and apart from being used to create hype, it’s also to let listeners know how much this track means to Odumodu, especially being able to secure the Zlatan feature, and the new season it’ll usher in. Big Gun has also thanked Psycho YP for putting Zlatan unto his sound.

The new Odumodu Blvck track Picanto was produced by JimohSoundz and released under Native Records. 2 months ago Native Records, the music subsidiary of Native Networks, and Def Jam Recordings signed an exclusive joint venture agreement to develop musical talents in Africa and the diaspora and it will enable both companies to use their contacts in the creative community to engage and develop young African artists.

The video for Picanto is yet to be released but Odumodu Blvck has teased it multiple times so far, shooting different scenes with the help of his audience. The Picanto video is being directed by Teezee who is one of the co-presidents of Native Networks. Odumodu has also linked the delayed release of the video to the song being pushed back by 3 days. Odumodu wants to premiere the video in Silverbird Cinemas and has asked his audience to help if they have any connections to Ben Murray-Bruce or the Silverbird Group.

The Skepta co-signed artist has had a busy couple of months performing at different shows, meeting with different industry leaders and he recently stopped by Cool FM to premiere the new record. Picanto follows Odumodu Blvck’s last release Dog Eat Dog which had its visuals released 2 months ago on the 14th of September 2022.

Released only a few hours ago, the Picanto track is already enjoying a positive reception from fans in and outside the country with a lot of people giving Odumodu Blvck his flowers for delivering rare flows that are simply one of a kind.
