Dee Moneey releases new album ‘Omanhene’

Powerful and heartfelt, ‘Omanhene’ is the latest album from Ghana based artist Dee Moneey. Dedicated to his late father, ‘Omanhene’ is a huge new release for this artist. ‘Omanhene’ is the title of the supreme traditional ruler in several Akan nations in Ghana, and was his father’s nickname amongst his friends. The songs on the 12 track album were all written in honour of his fathers, whose passing inspired Dee Moneey to step back into the studio. The passion and emotion is tangible in this album, as Dee Moneey attacks each track with tenacity and determination.

For a generation raised with Hip-life, Hip-Hop and Pop music, Dee Moneey has created a style that blends Hip-Hop, Techno, Dance, House, and Hip-life inflection to make a unique sound. To date, he has written for and worked with various artists and producers in Ghana and other countries such as Ice Prince, Wizkid, and performed on stage alongside Rick Ross and Fabulous. Since his 2011 debut single ‘Kpokpo O Body’, Dee Moneey has come a long way, ensuring to develop his sound and grow his craft as his fan base grows worldwide. Dee Moneey is aiming for stars with his new single, and we’re sure it will be the start of an exciting new chapter.
