Wizkid & Asake kick off collaborative era with high-energy single ‘Jogodo’

The wait is over for fans of African music as two of the continent’s biggest powerhouses, Wizkid and Asake, join forces for their first official collaborative single, “Jogodo.” Produced by the prolific Magicsticks, the track serves as the grand introduction to their upcoming joint EP, REAL, Vol 1.

First teased during a viral Apple Music interview last year, the partnership bridges two distinct worlds: Wizkid’s polished, global Afrobeat elegance and Asake’s signature street-rooted energy and choral harmonies. The result is a sonic masterpiece that feels both nostalgic and futuristic.
