24-year-old Afrobeats and R&B artist Kariim IV steps confidently into the spotlight with the release of his highly personal debut EP, “The Woman Condition.” This four-track collection showcases the emerging artist’s ability to blend smooth melodies with introspective storytelling, examining how women navigate the nuances of love, desire, trust, and vulnerability.
Kariim IV drew inspiration from his own life, turning real-life observations into relatable music. “’The Woman Condition’ is a personal project inspired by my real-life encounters and reflections on women in different emotional states,” he shares. “Each track captures a unique chapter of these experiences, making the EP both intimate and relatable.”
The EP takes listeners on a gentle emotional journey across four distinct tracks: “Koribe,” “Boys Anthem,” “Lehmino,” and “Enyeama.” The sound sits comfortably between Afrobeats and R&B, maintaining a delicate balance that is both rooted in feeling and grounded in rhythm.
Born and raised in Nigeria, Kariim IV’s music is shaped by the fusion of Afrobeats rhythms and global pop sounds. His goal is to create music that reflects “the complexities of human connection.”
With “The Woman Condition,” Kariim IV introduces himself as an artist who is unafraid to express vulnerability and reflection, delivering a sound that is refreshing, mature, and deeply heartfelt. It is an invitation to feel, connect, and immerse oneself in the shared experience of relationships.
“The Woman Condition” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
