Emerging Afrobeats artist Lekkzy Young is ready to turn up the heat with his brand-new single, “DND” (Do Not Disturb), featuring UK-based sensation Tiz East. The track captures a universal, modern desire: the freedom to escape distractions and fully embrace the moment.
“DND” is a celebration of presence—a raw, free party record with no obligations, just the rhythm of the night and the freedom to move.
The single instantly sets a danceable mood with its commanding opening line, “Bend down low, the earlier, the better.” Lekkzy Young’s verses paint a vivid picture of a carefree poolside party, while Tiz East seamlessly enters with a verse that injects London street fluency and global cool, adding edge without sacrificing the smooth vibe. Together, they create a conversation between cities and sensibilities.
Produced with infectious Afrobeat rhythms, the song delivers on its simple, core truth: sometimes the best way to connect is to disconnect.
As Lekkzy Young explains, “We’ve all had those nights where we just want to vibe, no calls, no texts, just energy. That’s what DND is, raw and free.”
Following his rise in the Afrobeats scene, “DND” cements Lekkzy Young’s ability to create infectious, boundary-crossing music.
