Saelem Delivers Intimate Debut EP, “For the Lost Ones Who Found Jesus”

Nigerian artist Saelem has released his debut EP, For the Lost Ones Who Found Jesus, a seven-track project that offers an intimate and heartfelt journey from brokenness to healing. The project is a reflection of his personal path, trading loud performances for quiet introspection.

The EP begins with “Sinner,” a vulnerable admission of failure and the courage to return. The journey continues with “LVD (Loved),” which provides a message of unconditional acceptance with lyrics like, “I’m still loved by you / I might be hard to love.” The words land softly, like a grace freely given.

The track “FGVN” (Forgiven) is a short, tender whispered prayer. Saelem then explores the complexities of transformation in “NU (New),” where he admits, “I miss the old me,” a powerful moment of honesty that shows rebirth isn’t always a clean or simple process.

The project builds to “99+1,” a fresh and culturally rooted reimagining of the classic hymn “Amazing Grace.” The EP concludes with “Lately,” a quiet ballad of surrender, where Saelem asks to decrease so that something greater can increase.
