Fast-rising Nigerian-American Afrobeats singer, songwriter, and music producer O.L.A has joined forces with veteran hitmaker Orezi for his brand-new single, “Hot Baby II.”
Short for “Over Living All,” O.L.A is the stage name of Alexander Olaoluwa Salami. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Ibadan, Nigeria, the multi-hyphenate creator bridges his dual heritage by blending Western influences with the rhythmic pulse of Nigerian street-pop and mainstream Afrobeats. This cross-cultural perspective allows his music to move fluidly across genres while maintaining a genuine connection to West Africa’s contemporary soundscape.
On “Hot Baby II,” O.L.A and Orezi deliver a confident anthem centered on success, personal status, and enjoying the fruits of their labor. The record opens with vivid imagery of luxury, with lines celebrating executive comfort and high fashion, making reference to living comfortably and drawing inspiration from business leaders like Tony Elumelu.
Orezi elevates the record with his signature charisma, making his entry with the catchphrase “Alhaji Orezi ti de” alongside dynamic crowd responses that add festive flair to the track. Together, the duo crafts an engaging Afrobeats experience built around strong melodic hooks, infectious rhythms, and an easygoing bounce designed for clubs, radio waves, and playlists worldwide.
“Hot Baby II” marks a strong continuation of O.L.A’s release run, showcasing his capability as both a vocalist and producer alongside one of Afrobeats’ established voices.
