Guardian Angel, born Audiphaxad Peter Omwaka, is a Kenyan gospel singer, songwriter, and multi-
instrumentalist known across East Africa as the “Music Doctor.” His journey in music has been shaped by
a blend of Gospel Reggae, Dancehall, and Afro-rap, delivered through uplifting and faith-driven lyrics.
Over the years, he has built a strong connection with listeners who turn to his music for encouragement
and reflection. His new five-track EP, “Favour,” focuses on gratitude, healing, worship, love, and
assurance of God’s presence.
On “Favour,” the opening track sets the tone with gratitude and reflection on daily blessings. “Every
day I see reasons to thank God, even in the small things,” he says. The song carries a steady reminder
that favour is not accidental but present in every step. While “Kupendwa” moves into a space of healing
after emotional pain. “Raha ya kupendwa” becomes a line of comfort, pointing to the joy of being loved
without conditions. “Unastahili” is a moment of worship and surrender. Guardian Angel focuses on
gratitude for being lifted from difficult moments and restored with grace. The song is built around
reverence and acknowledgement of God’s worthiness.
On “Love,” he turns attention to the world around him, addressing division and conflict. The message is
simple, calling for kindness, forgiveness, and care for others regardless of background. “AmeKuona”
closes the EP with reassurance to anyone going through hardship. He speaks directly to those feeling
unseen or forgotten, reminding them that God has not looked away.
